Investment thesis
After originating as an activist investor taking concentrated positions in small-cap US public markets, the firm shifted its focus toward health and wellness following research into the obesity and chronic illness epidemic in the US. The Living Fund aims to create and invest in businesses that help prevent or reverse preventable chronic illnesses through lifestyle change. Areas of interest include food as medicine, mindfulness and meditation, sleep and exercise, functional medicine and nutrition, corporate wellness, environmental impact businesses, addiction treatment, plant-based food, wellness products and services, technology supporting lifestyle changes, and nonprofits addressing chronic illness and obesity.
