Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader and heart‑and‑lung transplant surgeon trained under Norman Shumway, he combines clinical and policy expertise, hosts A Second Opinion, and helps healthcare companies navigate regulation.

Mark Pulido has more than four decades of leadership experience across health IT, health services, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and private equity, having served as CEO of five companies. He was President and CEO of ABILITY, a cloud-based healthcare provider platform acquired by Inovalon, and previously held CEO roles at McKesson Corporation, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (USA), BenefitPoint, and Red Line Healthcare Corporation. He has also served on the boards of Inovalon, Quidel, and other healthcare and technology companies.
