Ceres Partners invests in food and agriculture through private equity, driven by three core dynamics: rising consumer demand from population growth and a more informed consumer base; the urgent need for producers and distributors to increase output while managing constrained resources (land, water, labor) and supply chain volatility; and the substantial addressable market—food and agriculture represents 5% of US GDP and 10.5% of US employment—with relatively limited private capital penetration compared to other sectors of equivalent size.
