Investment thesis
The Btech Consortium invests in emerging bank technology companies that empower community banks. By bringing together community banks, Elizabeth Park Capital Management, and Strandview Capital, it gives participating banks market leverage, insight into emerging technology, access to new vendor relationships, and equity participation in the companies it backs. It helps mid-sized and community banks address the buy-versus-build dilemma by offering access to cutting-edge solutions adaptable to their needs. Portfolio companies gain strategic capital, consortium banks as potential customers, insight into bank vendor selection, and hands-on collaboration. A proprietary Consortium HUB serves as the central information exchange for member banks.
