About
Terry Huang is a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Center for Systems and Community Design at the City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, where he also serves as Co-Director of the NYU-CUNY Prevention Research Center. He previously chaired the Department of Health Policy and Management at CUNY SPH and held a leadership role at the National Institutes of Health focused on systems science and public health integration. Huang founded Firefly Innovations, a public health entrepreneurship platform, and serves as a general partner and angel investor at COREangels Health Ventures; his research and policy work spans obesity prevention, built environment interventions, and chronic disease management. He holds a PhD in Preventive Medicine and an MPH from the University of Southern California, an MBA from IE Business School, and a BA in Psychology from McGill University.
