About
Steve Wozniak designed and hand-built the Apple I and Apple II, the machine that turned a hobbyist kit company into the business that defined personal computing and carried Apple to its 1980 IPO. He was the engineering half of the original partnership with Steve Jobs, left day-to-day work at Apple in 1985, and has spent the decades since on education, speaking and occasional ventures including Wheels of Zeus and Efforce.
