About
Steve Jobs co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak in 1976, was forced out in 1985, founded NeXT and bought Pixar, then returned in 1997 to lead one of the most complete corporate turnarounds ever recorded — shipping the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad and taking Apple from near-bankruptcy toward the world's most valuable company. His $5M purchase of Pixar returned about $7.4B when Disney acquired it in 2006. He died in 2011.
