Tsung-Hsien (Shawn) Wen is co-founder and CTO of PolyAI, a London-based company developing a platform for deploying spoken dialogue systems using NLP and machine learning. He holds a PhD from the Dialogue Systems group at the University of Cambridge, where he was supervised by Professor Steve Young, and his research addresses language generation and end-to-end dialogue modelling for task-oriented systems. Before PolyAI, he worked as a research consultant at IPSoft's Amelia team and a research intern at Google Brain, and he received best paper awards at EMNLP 2015 and SigDial 2015.
