Justin Dean leads within Boston Consulting Group's Energy practice, with three decades of experience in the power and utility sector, and oversees BCG North America's Mid-Atlantic System (Washington DC, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Pittsburgh offices). He sits on BCG's Global Executive Committee and works across the utility value chain, including electric and gas utility strategy/M&A, field operations, distributed energy resources, large-scale renewables, and energy access. Before BCG he led distribution engineering at NV Energy and began his career at ABB/ALSTOM Power; he holds an MBA from Kellogg, a Masters of Engineering Management from Northwestern, and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia.
