He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, and previously co-founded the medical diagnostics startup medCount and the anti-counterfeiting company CertiRx, in addition to founding the software consultancy Ravioli Labs. He advises early-stage companies and students through DukeGEN and the NC State Engineering Entrepreneurs Program, and serves as Co-Chair of the NC State Alumni Entrepreneurship Network.
