In 2007 he co-founded Acquia, a SaaS company built on Drupal, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and later Chief Strategy Officer for 18 years and now holds the role of Executive Chair. He holds a PhD in computer science and engineering from Ghent University and is a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum.
