Alexander Stoeckel has 19 years of venture capital experience, beginning in asset management and general management before moving into VC during his MBA at the University of Oxford. He spent twelve years at BrainsToVentures AG (btov, now b2venture) from 2007, then led the VC team at Philip Morris International as Head of PM Equity Partner from 2019. He began working with Joyance Partners in early 2024 and became a General Partner & Managing Partner in December 2025, and also lectures on venture capital at the University of St. Gallen.
