Investment thesis
The Westchester Angels supports early-stage start-ups in Westchester County and the broader Tri-State area, aiming to grow young companies, empower entrepreneurs, and strengthen the local start-up ecosystem. The group invests across all industries with the sole exception of biotech. It differentiates itself by moving away from traditional angel meetings held in law offices or shared workspaces, instead running in-person and live-streamed investor meetings at engaging local venues to make angel investing more enjoyable. It also collaborates with partners such as Jumpstart NJ Angel Network, the Element 46 incubator, and The STEM Alliance to broaden deal flow and support the community.
