Venture Catalyst Space is an acceleration program specifically for startups developing new products or services for the space industry. Run by Adelaide University's Innovation & Collaboration Centre and supported by the South Australian Space Industry Centre and the State Government's Space Innovation Fund, it provides tailored capability workshops, one-on-one mentoring, access to a custom co-working space in Adelaide CBD, connections with a global pool of industry experts and investors, and an equity-free stipend of AUD $10,000. Participants retain full equity and IP. Since 2018 the program has supported 40+ space startups, with alumni raising over AUD $54.7 million in additional funding.
