Sumisho Venture Partners is the Tokyo-based CVC arm launched by Sumitomo Corporation in 2022, complementing the group's existing global CVC operations in Silicon Valley (Presidio Ventures, 1998), China/Southeast Asia, Israel (IN Venture), and the UK (Presidio Europe). It invests along the next-generation growth themes of Sumitomo's SHIFT2023 mid-term plan, including next-generation energy, social infrastructure, retail and consumer, healthcare, and agriculture.
