Investment thesis
FundNV backs early-stage, revenue-generating Nevada startups that show early traction and are positioned for growth. Through its partnership with StartUpNV, the state's startup accelerator, the fund gains access to top local investment opportunities and hosts weekly pitch sessions for founders. Startups accepting funding must join the StartUpNV accelerator and donate equity to the non-profit. Investments qualify for a 1:1 match through the State of Nevada's SSBCI program. The fund is structured as an intrastate vehicle under Nevada's first-in-the-nation 'Nevada Certified Investor' laws, focusing capital on companies within the state.
