Investment thesis
StartAngels Network connects around 85 experienced business angels who invest their own capital directly into early-stage Swiss start-ups. As a non-profit organization, the network itself makes no investments; instead it sources deal flow via regular pitch events (often hosted with banking partners such as Vontobel, Rothschild & Co. and Rahn+Bodmer), can lead rounds on behalf of its members, and supports portfolio companies with mentoring, coaching and access to its network. In 2025 the network reported 17 financing rounds across 13 portfolio companies, four new companies led by SAN, total investment of CHF 21.5 million, and one productive exit.
