Investment thesis
Partners Fund is an independent Japanese seed VC built around a 'Full Commit' philosophy of deeply supporting founders. Its capitalists act as co-founders, helping entrepreneurs from the idea and company-creation stage through seed and post-seed (up to pre-Series A). The firm is sector-agnostic, investing across B2C, B2B, DeepTech and CleanTech, and supports university-originated DeepTech startups via regional commercialization platforms. It typically takes a lead-investor role, aims to provide continuous follow-on support, and helps portfolio companies pursue diverse growth paths including global expansion, overseas fundraising, IPO and M&A, while seeking to build an evergreen, enduring VC organization.
