Investment thesis
NRV was created in 2011 by Richmond natives who believe in supporting their local entrepreneurial community with experienced counsel, connections, and accessible capital. The firm began by investing growth capital in local ventures and connecting expert advisors with scaling startups, later expanding its geographic reach. In May 2017, NRV launched the $33 million NRV Early Stage Growth Fund, L.P., which targets high-growth companies that have demonstrated market traction and are led by exceptional teams.
