Investment thesis
Ideaspace Ventures seeks and funds innovative early-stage startups that fit within the MPIC and MVP Group ecosystem, offering portfolio companies strategic partnerships and investments from some of the Philippines' largest enterprises. It operates several initiatives: the Ideaspace Accelerator Program (running since 2012), the HALO micro-fund for seed to Series A investments in startups finding product-market fit, and the evergreen LEGACY Fund that backs promising early-stage Philippine companies. Butch Meily is President of IdeaSpace Foundation, Inc. and leads the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation. Karla Legaspi serves as Head of Programs, Community & Ecosystem at QBO Innovation Hub. She brings ten years of project management experience in government and non-profit sectors, with focus on ICT and technopreneurship advocacy and training initiatives.
