Equilibrium Capital

Jared Sperry is Principal and Head of Portfolio Operations at Equilibrium, overseeing project delivery and asset operations. He has over a decade of experience in water, wastewater, and environmental construction project management, joining Equilibrium in 2019 from Crowder Construction, where he helped deliver more than $100 million of water and wastewater projects for the City of Durham, and previously held roles at Slayden Construction. He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University.

Andrew (Andy) Turner is a board member and founding advisor at Equilibrium Capital with a career in global finance. He spent decades at Frank Russell Company (now Russell Investments), where he rose to Managing Director of Investment Policy and Research and built its global investment research team, and later co-founded Northern Lights Ventures, a private equity firm focused on emerging investment managers that merged with Treasury Group to become Pacific Current Group. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and Applied Economics from the Wharton School and previously taught finance at Pacific Lutheran University.

Annie Vu is a Staff Accountant on Equilibrium's Finance and Operating team, where she handles accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and month-end financial reporting for multiple corporate entities. She previously worked at a public accounting firm on individual and entity tax returns, and spent over a year as a staff accountant at the Vancouver Housing Authority managing federal, state, and local grants for affordable housing programs. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in accounting from Washington State University.

Bill Campbell is Senior Advisor of Special Projects at Equilibrium Capital, where he also serves as President and CCO of the firm's broker-dealer subsidiary and CCO of its registered investment adviser subsidiary, overseeing fund-structure innovation and sitting on the firm's sustainability committee. Before co-founding Equilibrium with Dave Chen in 2008, he practiced law at Ater Wynne, where he led the firm's technology venture capital, IPO, and M&A practice, worked with energy and sustainability-focused companies, and eventually served as chairman. He holds a B.A. and J.D. from Yale University.

Casey Delaney is Senior Vice President of Financial Operations at Equilibrium, where she oversees accounting, financial operations, and reporting for sustainability-focused funds, including fund administration, investor reporting, audit oversight, and portfolio valuation. She previously worked as an accounting manager at Nike, focusing on global lease accounting transformation, and began her career at Deloitte in New York City handling corporate reporting and investment banking audits. She holds a B.A. in Economics-Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross and is a CPA and AICPA member.

Michaele Gobel is the Chief Financial Officer at Equilibrium Capital, where she manages the firm's Financial Operations group and oversees accounting and finance activities across its strategies. She joined Equilibrium in 2015 to handle the financial and accounting operations of the Wastewater Opportunity Fund. She has more than 15 years of accounting and finance experience across sectors including financial services, government, construction, manufacturing, and distribution, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from Portland State University.

Ryan Ensor is a CPA serving as Equilibrium Capital's Fund Accounting Manager, where he supports accounting operations and financial reporting for the Controlled Environment Foods Fund. He previously worked at Acumen Financial Services Group (later merged with Doty Pruett Wilson PC), splitting his time across attest services, tax preparation, and accounting process outsourcing, often for non-profit organizations in the Willamette Valley. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Portland State University.

Theo Holt is Equilibrium's Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel, overseeing the firm's compliance efforts and advising on legal matters related to its sustainability-focused real asset investment strategies. Before Equilibrium, he held director-level roles at The Nature Conservancy, including on the leadership team of its carbon finance initiative, and previously practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP on M&A, private equity, real estate, and securities matters. He holds a degree from Columbia Law School and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh's Honors College.

Tracy Barlow is the Senior Manager of People and Culture at Equilibrium, where she oversees human resources functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, benefits, and internal communications, as well as infrastructure and administration. Before joining the firm, she worked in executive and administrative support across industries such as manufacturing, finance, sustainable food production, and alternative healthcare.

Wilson Ervin spent most of his career at Credit Suisse, retiring as Vice-Chairman in 2020, where he led strategic projects including post-2008 policy reforms and developed the "Bail-in" framework for resolving failed banks. He previously served as the bank's Chief Risk Officer and a member of the Executive Board, and co-headed its Impact Investment Advisory Council starting in 2014. He graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 1982.
