He spent decades at Frank Russell Company (now Russell Investments), where he rose to Managing Director of Investment Policy and Research and built its global investment research team, and later co-founded Northern Lights Ventures, a private equity firm focused on emerging investment managers that merged with Treasury Group to become Pacific Current Group. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and Applied Economics from the Wharton School and previously taught finance at Pacific Lutheran University.
