Investment thesis
Cii2 is a Milan-based venture capital investment company founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs active in innovation and early-stage investing. Its initial model was to take roughly 10% equity in a large number of very young startups with investments of EUR 25,000-100,000, funding the prototyping phase. After entering the cap table, Cii2 supported companies in raising further capital, developing early metrics and validating their business models with first customers. The strategy then shifted to identifying the most promising companies from the initial portfolio and continuing to back their growth. The current portfolio spans e-commerce, fintech, logistics, mobility and software/applications.
