Investment thesis
CivVic Labs runs a six-week bootcamp accelerator where founders apply innovative thinking to some of Victoria's most pressing public-sector challenges. Participants learn from startup and subject-matter experts, test ideas with policymakers and citizens, and receive equity-free grant funding. Around 10 teams are admitted per challenge, each receiving A$12,500 on completion, with two teams awarded a further A$25,000 in seed funding to build out their solutions. The program targets founders ranging from those with just an idea to those with a very early product in market, aiming to fast-track problem-solution fit.
