CivVic Labs is a challenge-based accelerator operated by LaunchVic that invites founders to develop and validate startup ideas addressing pressing state and government challenges in Victoria, Australia. Through a roughly six-week bootcamp, participants work alongside subject matter experts and startup mentors, testing ideas with policy makers and citizens to reach problem-solution fit. The program admits around 10 startups per challenge and provides equity-free grant funding: participants receive AUD 12,500 on completion, and two teams receive an additional AUD 25,000 in seed funding to build their solutions. The program is free and takes no equity, targeting founders from the idea stage through very early product in market.
