Investment thesis
Centennial Investors is an angel organization in mid-Missouri made up of accredited investors who collectively evaluate startup opportunities and invest individually. The group focuses on technology- or science-based early-stage companies in Missouri and adjoining states, typically seeking investments of $150,000 to $500,000. Applicants proceed through a multi-step process of prescreening, screening, a pitch to members, due diligence (sometimes aided by students in the Allen Angel Capital Education Program), and deal negotiation. The group aims to generate attractive returns for members while promoting entrepreneurship in the region by supplying needed funding and advice.
