Martin Vetter is Senior Vice President at Verdex Capital, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage companies advancing Canada's food and agricultural sectors. He is also a founding partner of Carrot Ventures, a venture studio focused on commercializing agricultural technologies. With over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, and venture capital, Vetter has been involved in the formation and financing of several AgTech startups.

With a background in corporate investments and strategy and a farm upbringing, Nicole supports the sourcing, evaluation, and development of agricultural technology opportunities. She holds a BSc from the University of Lethbridge and an MBA from the University of Calgary.

A lifelong farmer and rancher, Steven supports sourcing and evaluation of new technologies, conducts due diligence, and guides early-stage AgTech companies toward commercial readiness. He holds an MBA from Western Ontario's Ivey School and an MSc from the University of Alberta.

Monte Wilson is Chief Financial Officer at Carrot Ventures. He has more than 24 years of experience in accounting roles, including budget development and management for organizations with over $30 million in annual revenue. His background encompasses financial and accounting operations, human resources management, acquisitions, and accounting staff development.
