Justin VandenAkker is a Partner and Co-Founder of Blue Field Capital, where he oversees fund operations and investment management. He has over 17 years of experience in real estate transactions, development, and business operations, and previously founded and managed WV Investment Properties, LLC, which invested in value-add/rehab, ground-up development, and land rezoning projects. He holds a B.S. in Economics and a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah.

Karl Israelsen is a Partner and Co-Founder of Blue Field Capital, where he manages the firm's fund operations and investments, drawing on a background in real estate development, investment management, and business development. Before Blue Field Capital, he founded and served as managing partner of Carman Lehnhof Israelsen LLP, a corporate and securities law firm, with over 15 years of experience in real estate fund structuring, capital formation, M&A, and private equity. He holds a BA in Economics from Utah State University, a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago.

Nate Adamson is a Partner at Blue Field Capital and a member of its investment committee, where he works on portfolio management, investor relations, and fundraising. He has worked in real estate research, reporting, fund management, and acquisitions over the past decade. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with an emphasis in real estate from Brigham Young University.

Zain Jaffer is a Partner at Blue Field Capital, where he sits on the investment committee for real estate acquisitions and venture capital investments. He previously founded technology start-ups, selling his last company to Blackstone in an all-cash $780M acquisition, and later invested in real estate through his family office, Zain Ventures. At Blue Field he launched the firm's venture capital fund in 2020, focused on early-stage PropTech start-ups. He holds a Master's in Technology Entrepreneurship from University College London and a Bachelor's in Business Management from King's College London.

Haley Hatton is Director of Accounting & Operations at Blue Field Capital. She previously held accounting roles at a private equity real estate firm, where she worked on financial reporting and analysis of commercial properties, and earlier worked in tax services at a Big Four accounting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.

Jake Kumferman is Vice President of Operations at Blue Field Capital, with a background in commercial real estate asset management and financial consulting. He previously served as an asset manager at a California-based multifamily investment firm, overseeing more than 3,600 units across the Western U.S., and worked at Deloitte in Los Angeles valuing commercial real estate assets. He holds a B.S. in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from Brigham Young University.

Jordan Greenwell is a Strategic Advisor at Blue Field Capital. He previously served as Partner and Chief Credit Officer at AvTech Capital (formerly Tetra Financial Group), where he oversaw credit and operations and helped fund nearly $1 billion in commercial equipment finance transactions over roughly 15 years. He has been a personal real estate investor since 2004 and holds a Cum Laude bachelor's degree in Finance and German from the University of Utah.

Spencer Thomas is Director of Acquisitions at Blue Field Capital, where he handles sourcing acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence, financing, and transaction management. Before joining the firm, he worked in commercial mortgage banking and private equity multifamily acquisitions, evaluating investment opportunities and analyzing asset performance for lender reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a real estate emphasis from Brigham Young University.

Tanner Burnett is an Associate at Blue Field Capital, working on asset management, acquisition underwriting, and deal sourcing. He previously worked at a third-party commercial real estate advisory firm, where he managed a $2.4B portfolio of debt and equity investments across multifamily, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, life science, and senior housing, and underwrote more than $6B in commercial real estate on the firm's underwriting team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Brigham Young University.
