Ron Baron founded Baron Capital in 1982, where he serves as CEO and a portfolio manager, and has 56 years of research experience. Earlier in his career he worked as an institutional securities analyst at several brokerage firms and as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent Office while attending George Washington University Law School. He earned a BA in chemistry from Bucknell University and was previously a teaching fellow in biochemistry at Georgetown University.
