Access Bridge Ventures

Issa Aghabi is the Founder and Managing Director of Access Bridge Ventures, an early-stage fund focused on the MENA region that invests in companies at Pre-Seed and Seed stages and has deployed into more than 25 companies. He has invested in MENA's technology ecosystem since 2006, previously leading IFC's venture capital activities across the Middle East and North Africa and working with the World Bank on entrepreneurial frameworks in Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt. His earlier track record includes over 75 investments, more than $150M in MENA venture funds under management, the UAE's first accelerator, and exits including Souq, Mumzworld, Jawaker, and Vezeeta.

Magellan Makhlouf is Co-Founder and Managing Director of CedarBridge Partners and a co-founder and Investment Committee member at Access Bridge Ventures. He previously served as Managing Director for Gulf Capital Private Equity in the UAE, held a marketing leadership role at Johnson Controls in Brussels, and spent eight years at General Electric and GE Capital across North America and Europe in roles spanning business development, finance, logistics, and manufacturing. His board positions include audit committee chairman roles at Ma'arif and Metito Holdings and remuneration committee chairman roles at Gulf Marine Services and Techno Group; he holds a BSBA from the University of Windsor and is a certified six-sigma black belt.

Aly Ramadan is a member of the investment team at Access Bridge Ventures. He previously worked as a Senior Investment Analyst at Falak Startups, where he managed the investment pipeline and follow-on investments, and as an Assistant Brand Manager at Almarai Egypt and at RiseUp. He holds a bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from MIU, where he founded the Hult Prize chapter and led the "Haras El Nile" initiative.
