William Lee is a Founder and Managing Partner of Pilot Growth Equity, based in San Francisco, and has worked in software development for over three decades and technology investing for over two. He created NavPod, Pilot Growth's AI-based deal sourcing and workflow engine. Earlier in his career he led mobile operating system development at Motorola, co-founded and served as CTO of The Theory Center (acquired by BEA Systems), and later worked at BEA and co-founded the private investment firm NextStage LLC. He holds a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's in Computer Science from Cornell University.
