Scott Hanson is the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Ambiq (NYSE: AMBQ), which he established in 2010 after developing the company's SPOT sub-threshold/near-threshold technology platform during his PhD studies at the University of Michigan. He led the development of Ambiq's first flagship processor, Apollo, and the company has since shipped more than 300 million chips.
