Rosalind Picard is the Grover M. Hermann Professor in Health Sciences and Technology at the MIT Media Lab and the author of the book Affective Computing. She co-founded Empatica, where she serves as Chief Scientist, and Affectiva, and her work covers wearable technology, machine learning, and methods for measuring emotion through face, voice, and physiological signals.
