Florian Heinemann is a Founding and General Partner at Project A Ventures, a European early-stage venture capital firm with approximately USD 1.5 billion in assets under management that has backed over 120 companies since 2012, including Trade Republic, Sennder, and Catawiki. Prior to co-founding the firm, he was Managing Director at Rocket Internet from 2007 to 2012, and earlier co-founded JustBooks/AbeBooks and the marketplace antibodies-online.com; he has also invested in more than 80 startups as an angel investor and serves as a limited partner in over 50 venture funds. He holds a doctorate in innovation management and entrepreneurship from RWTH Aachen and a master's degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, and sits on the supervisory boards of Körber, Fiege, Otto Group, and Holtzbrinck Publishing Group.
