About
Avi Meir has built a $2.7 billion company twice over — once as TravelPerk, and again by rebuilding it as Perk. He founded it in Barcelona in 2015 with Javier Suarez and Ron Levin, all three Booking.com alumni who thought booking a work trip should be as easy as booking a holiday, and grew it past $300 million of annualised revenue, 12,000 customer companies including Wise, Adyen and Revolut, and 1,800 staff across twelve offices. A $200 million Series E co-led by Atomico and EQT Growth in January 2025 doubled its valuation to $2.7 billion, and in November that year he renamed the company Perk as it moved beyond travel into spend. He has bought six companies along the way, including the Swiss expense-AI firm Yokoy. It is his second exit-grade company: he co-founded the hotel software firm Hotel Ninjas in 2012, which Booking.com's parent acquired in 2014. He is an Israeli intelligence veteran with an MBA from IESE.
