Alan Waxman is CEO, Co-Chief Investment Officer, and Co-Founding Partner of Sixth Street, a multi-strategy private capital investment firm he helped establish in 2009. Before Sixth Street, he was a partner at Goldman Sachs and chief investment officer of its largest proprietary investing group, where he founded and led investing franchises in growth capital, direct lending, alternative energy infrastructure, and public markets multi-strategy investing. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
