About
Aaron Nelson is a Partner in Novo Holdings' US Venture Investments unit, which he joined in June 2025. He was previously Managing Director at the Novartis Venture Fund, where he led Seed and Series A investments in therapeutic drug discovery, and contributed to Novartis's digital health investment program dRx Capital. Earlier he worked across Novartis Research & Development units including Trials of the Future and Investigative Toxicology. He holds a BA from Cornell University, a PhD in Cell and Microbiology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD from Tufts University, and conducted post-doctoral studies at the Karolinska Institutet.
