Jonathan Leff is a physician with over 25 years of clinical development experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, advising companies on drug development from target identification through market approval. Before joining Sofinnova in 2020, he was SVP and Chief Medical Officer of Ascendis Pharma, EVP of Research and Development at InterMune (where he led development and US approval of Esbriet for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis), and held CMO roles at KaloBios Pharmaceuticals and Halozyme Therapeutics, plus positions at Roche, Amgen, and Merck.
