Thin Line Capital views decarbonizing the global economy as a generational economic opportunity. It targets seed-stage, low-capex companies in renewable energy, electrification of transport, and climate resiliency, plus software and data tools that decarbonize the built environment. The firm writes roughly $400K-$600K checks and builds a concentrated portfolio in areas where its team has deep domain expertise. As former entrepreneurs and engineers, the partners act as hands-on advisors and mentors, aiming to be a founder's first and last resource. It is now deploying its second fund to back clean energy and climate-focused companies.
