Melody He is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of The Spartan Group, where she advises crypto founders and projects on capital markets transactions and has worked with companies including Solana, Dapper Labs/Flow, Improbable, Pintu, and Deribit. She previously served as an investment partner at MOX/SOSV and began her career in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, where she worked on financing and M&A transactions including the Baidu IPO.

Leeor Groen is a Partner at The Spartan Group and a board member. With over 12 years of experience across Europe and Asia, Groen has worked in technology investment, M&A transactions, and angel investing, and is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers community. Groen has lived in the UK, Switzerland, Singapore, Scandinavia, Israel, and Australia.

Yoshiharu Uruno focuses on life sciences, sourcing and leading university-linked biotech deals in Japan—named investment lead for GAIA BioMedicine and Toregem BioPharma, and serving as corporate auditor in portfolio governance.

Adrian Lai is Chief Creative Officer at The Spartan Group, where he leads the studio at Spartan Labs. He has two decades of experience across product design, venture building, and brand marketing.

Claudia Tan works in Investment Advisory at The Spartan Group. She is a Year 4 undergraduate at Singapore Management University pursuing a Bachelor of Business Management, and is a member of the Fixed Income Division of the SMU EYE Investment Club, where she has analyzed corporate bonds, performed financial projections, and prepared pitch decks. She has participated in the Taiwan-Singapore study-cum-exchange Programme and the Beyond Borders Programme in Vietnam and Malaysia, and has volunteered at Sri Narayana Home.

Jacey Cheng is an Investor Relations Associate at The Spartan Group. She previously worked as a Custody Analyst at Hex Trust, where she focused on data analytics and cross-functional project coordination. Cheng holds a background in biotechnology and business from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is proficient in English and Mandarin.

Marwan Chahboun is Executive Director and Head of Secondaries at The Spartan Group. He has over seven years of experience in private market transaction advisory and investment across the financial services, technology, and web3 sectors, and also runs DealCraft Capital, an M&A advisory boutique focused on Web3.

Michael Harris is a consultant in M&A, capital raising, and strategic finance at The Spartan Group, with experience spanning fintech, crypto, SaaS, financial services, and energy. He spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley in corporate finance and M&A before joining the crypto exchange Swyftx as one of its first finance hires, where he built out the finance team across accounting, FP&A, treasury, investor relations, capital raising, and M&A. At Swyftx he oversaw two acquisitions and a capital raising process, implemented risk management processes during a market downturn, and contributed to the company's first financial audit and ISO 27001 compliance as revenue grew to over $160 million.

Yvonne Chen is an Executive Director at The Spartan Group. Her experience includes administrative and executive support tasks such as HR management and the planning and execution of company events.

Jordan Borawski works at Anzu Partners as a Human Resources Business Partner within People Operations, supporting day-to-day HR operations for portfolio companies, including HR system administration, payroll review, policy guidance, and HR program implementation. She was previously a Human Resources Generalist at Charter Communications and worked in Higher Education roles at San Diego State University. She holds a BS in Social Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and an MA in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.
