Investment thesis
Quorum Capital Partners invests in early-stage startups and improves their odds of success by activating a community of experts—its Specialist Limited Partners (SLPs)—who are personally invested and help both select and support companies. General Partners first assess whether a quorum of relevant SLP domain experts can be assembled; if not, they pass quickly. SLPs then run in-depth diligence on flagged risks and knowledge gaps, and SLPs and GPs vote collectively on each investment. Portfolio founders join the community and receive tailored introductions and guidance. The firm evolved from a 2021 angel syndicate and often expands its positions substantially—up to 10x its initial investment—in later rounds.
