Philipp Kobus co-founded Fraser and advises entrepreneurs, senior management, and boards on digital strategy and M&A, focusing on the digital marketing, media, and e-commerce SaaS and services sectors, largely in Germany. He previously worked as a Director at Goldman Sachs/iFormation on growth capital transactions, as a Vice President at Internet Capital Group investing in business services and enabling technology companies, and spent over five years at McKinsey & Company. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA from the University of Munich, and a BA from the University of Tübingen.

Andreas Cser joined Fraser in 2008 and has served as a Venture Partner since 2011, with over 20 years of experience advising and backing technology businesses in Europe as an investor and board member across early and growth stage ventures. He was previously a Vice President at Dresdner Kleinwort and held roles at CIBC World Markets in M&A and Leveraged Finance and at UBS Investment Bank's TMT corporate finance team, and earlier co-founded an online content management and community platform in Germany. He holds an MA from ESCP-EAP European School of Management and is fluent in German, French, Hungarian and Romanian.

Christoph With joined Fraser in 2012 and has more than 20 years of experience advising telecoms, media, and technology companies in Europe and the U.S. He previously worked at Broadview International (now part of Jefferies & Co.) and Alegro Capital on technology and media M&A, held a Vice President role in Deutsche Bank's investment banking division, and was an analyst at Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Technology Group in London and Menlo Park; he also served as CFO of ONDAS Media. He holds an MA in international management from ESCP-EAP and a BA in business administration from European Business School (EBS), and currently works with growth-stage SaaS and tech-enabled services companies.

Deborah Palmer Herst joined Fraser in 2016 and works with growth-stage biotech, medtech, diagnostics, and digital health companies in the U.S. and internationally. She was previously a Vice President at Healthios Capital Markets, a boutique investment bank focused on emerging healthcare, where she worked on financing and M&A transactions and ran the firm's syndicates, webinars, and partnering conferences. She holds a BA from Indiana University and an English Literature Certificate from Cambridge University, and is a FINRA Registered Representative.

Nicholas Field-Johnson is a founder of Fraser. He previously served as Head of M&A at Dresdner Bank, sat on the Board of Directors at NM Rothschild & Sons Ltd., led Dresdner Kleinwort Capital's private placement business, and was a Managing Director at Alexander Dunham & Case Capital advising European middle-market clients. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and MA and BA degrees from Oxford University, with expertise in M&A, restructuring, and equity raising.

Stefan Santer is a Partner at Fraser with a background in data privacy and public affairs in the DACH region, working with industry associations such as BVDW, Bitkom, and IAB Europe on regulatory topics including the AI Act, Digital Services Act, ePrivacy, and GDPR. He previously led enterprise sales in the DACH region for privacy scale-up Didomi during a period of significant company growth, and earlier co-founded an e-commerce startup in the beauty industry. He holds an LLM (Mag. iur.) from the University of Graz and a BSc in law and business from the University of Klagenfurt, and passed the Austrian bar exam.

Seena Rejal joined Fraser as a Venture Partner in 2021. He is the founder and Chairman of Shapes AI, an early-stage AI company based in London and Palo Alto working on visual reasoning technology for video analytics in smart city and mobility applications. He previously held leadership roles at cleantech companies in the US and UK and served as Head of Technology for the Clinton Climate Initiative. He holds MEng and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge.

Alexander Kiock joined Fraser in 2024 as a Senior Advisor focused on the digital services sector, following more than 20 years working in Germany's marketing and communications industry. He founded diffferent, a Germany-based strategy consulting firm now part of WPP, whose clients included Volkswagen, Deutsche Telekom, Porsche, MTU, EnBW, and IKEA, and served as Vice President of the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW). He holds an MA in communications and media research from Hannover University of Music, Drama, and Media and studied marketing and business at Leibniz University of Hannover.

Andreas C. Meyer has worked in corporate and investment banking for over 30 years, with roles at Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, and most recently as Managing Director and Senior Banker at Banco Santander covering large German corporate clients. He also served as Head of Advisory at Bankhaus Scheich/Tradias, a BAFIN-regulated market maker in digital assets, and is on the management team of a family-owned services business in Germany. He holds an MBA from Goethe University Frankfurt and attended executive MBA classes at New York University and INSEAD.

Christian Thun-Hohenstein has more than 30 years of experience advising technology and media clients across Europe along with global technology investors, private equity firms, and sovereign wealth funds. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to Citic CLSA in Europe and previously was Chairman of Advisory at DealGlobe Ltd, following an investment banking career at firms including Nomura, Haitong Securities, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse First Boston, where he held roles such as Head of TMT Investment Banking and Global Co-Head of Media Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BSFS from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

Christopher Wright is Chairman of EMAlternatives LLC, an emerging markets private equity asset management firm in Washington DC, and a director of Merifin Capital Group. He previously served as Head of Global Private Equity for Dresdner Kleinwort Capital and a Group Board Member of Dresdner Kleinwort until 2003, having joined Kleinwort Benson in 1978 and co-founded its first California office in 1981 before relocating to New York in 1986. He holds an M.A. from Oxford University and a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from ACCA, and is a Foundation Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford.

Fredrik Adams is a cleantech entrepreneur with prior experience in technology venture capital, having worked in early-stage tech VC across Europe and the USA from 1999 to 2009, including with Siemens. He has founded companies in renewable energy and algae, and has raised and deployed over £120M into renewable energy and algae projects since 2010. He holds a BA from Lund University and an MSc from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester.

Kai Grossmann joined Fraser in 2026 as a Senior Advisor, with roughly 30 years of operational leadership in digital, cloud, and AI transformation. He previously served as COO of Aperto AG, which was acquired by IBM in 2016, after which he became CEO of IBM iX in Germany and Switzerland and sat on the board of IBM iX DACH until 2024. He holds MSc (Dipl.-Ing.) and M.A. (Dipl.-Kommunikationswirt) degrees from HTW University Berlin.

Kim Berknov joined Fraser in 2024 as a Senior Advisor, bringing over 20 years of experience with enterprise technology and digital services companies across Scandinavia, the UK, and Germany in advisory and operational roles spanning strategy, corporate finance, and international business development. He previously was a Venture Partner at Enso Ventures and held senior roles at Aldata Solutions Oyj, GE Capital, and NCR, and earlier worked at McKinsey & Company and as a Managing Director at goetzpartners in Munich. He holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne and a BA from Copenhagen School of Economics and Business.

Maxim M. Seltzer joined Fraser in 2017 and has over 20 years of experience in direct investments, M&A, capital markets and financing transactions, with a focus on cross-border deals in emerging markets across Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Israel, Singapore, Japan and China. He previously held executive roles at Haitong Securities, STJ Advisors, Nomura and Daiwa-SMBC, and began his career at the treasury of the Bank of Montreal before moving to the EBRD in London. He holds an IMBA from the Schulich Business School in Canada.
