Investment thesis
Atlas Accelerator supports technology entrepreneurs who face limited funding and staffing by acting as a hands-on business partner. Rather than only providing capital, the firm invests for stock and supplies a bench of over 30 professionals offering part-time, flexible resources such as product management, inside sales, web marketing, HR, and tax accounting. This lets startups conserve cash, avoid full-time hiring overhead, and bring in trusted specialists as needed, scaling support as companies grow and eventually helping recruit full-time replacements. Operating since 1996, Atlas describes itself as the largest accelerator on the west coast, backing companies from Vancouver, BC to Los Angeles across enterprise software, web applications, materials, cleantech energy, and consumer goods.
