Investment thesis
Agilitas pursues transformational private equity investments in defensible businesses across Europe, favouring companies with high barriers to entry, significant market share, long-term customer relationships and unique resources. It targets sectors with stable, positive regulatory environments where regulation, licensing or certification create defensibility, and situations involving complexity of business model, transaction or ownership that reward a creative, differentiated approach. The firm takes an operational rather than financial approach, partnering with management to build multi-dimensional business plans covering acquisitions, disposals, new market entry, product development and operational optimisation. Agilitas holds a pan-European view while recognising local market features, and embeds environmental, social and governance factors throughout its investment process and stewardship as central to long-term value creation.
