Alec Martin is Managing Director of Impact, ESG and Climate at AgDevCo, where he serves on the Executive Committee, Portfolio Review Committee, and Audit and Risk Committee, and sits on multiple investee ESG-Impact committees. He has more than 25 years of experience in responsible investment, ESG, and sustainability across over 25 countries and sectors including mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and the blue economy, with prior work alongside DFIs, commercial lenders, private equity firms, and project developers. Martin is a member of the ICAEW Sustainability Committee, founder of Portobello Surf Life Saving Club, a trustee of SCIO PSKC, and a mentor and judge for the Kinjani climate venture builder "the Lab."

Amy Cuff is Senior ESG Manager at AgDevCo, where she works with African agribusinesses to assess ESG, climate, and gender risk and identify value-add opportunities. Her experience includes gap analyses, environmental and social due diligence, EHS compliance, and environmental and social management systems across sectors such as agriculture, food and beverage, ICT, education, logistics, renewable power, manufacturing, and tourism for development finance institutions and private equity firms. She previously worked in the Environmental Management Department at the City of Cape Town, contributing to the State of Environment Report and the Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan, and holds an MPhil in Environment, Society and Sustainability from the University of Cape Town.

Chris Isaac is the Chief Investment Officer at AgDevCo, a specialist blended finance vehicle with $390 million in assets that provides equity and mezzanine loans to African agribusinesses. He co-founded the organization, which invests in African agriculture and holds an A- rating from S&P Global Ratings.

Emma Shewell is an ESG Analyst at AgDevCo, an impact investor focused on the agriculture sector in Africa, with a portfolio spanning 11 countries and approximately USD 340 million in funds under management. Based in Cape Town, she previously worked in risk consulting, assessing political, economic, security, integrity, and ESG risks across sub-Saharan Africa in industries including oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, telecommunications, and financial services. She holds an MA in Political Science with a specialization in conflict transformation and political mediation in the African context.

Erik Wiersma serves as Commercial Agriculture Director at AgDevCo. His areas of expertise include agricultural company management, agronomy management and field advisory services for field, horticultural, and plantation crops, feasibility and crop suitability studies, and sustainable land resource management involving local community land consultation.

Ismail Sentissi is an Investment Director at AgDevCo, an impact investment fund managing over $250 million. His work focuses on agribusiness investments in Africa.

Joe Kaburu is Regional Finance Manager at AgDevCo, where he manages multi-country investment portfolios across East Africa. His work covers valuations of debt and equity instruments, audit support, financial reporting, and portfolio administration for impact-focused investments. He works with tools including Salesforce, Power BI, and advanced Excel (Macros and Power Query), and oversees office and operational administration.

John Jakobsson is Investment Director at AgDevCo, where he focuses on private equity and credit investments in African agribusiness. He has more than 14 years of experience across private equity and leveraged finance, including over 12 years working on the African continent, spanning equity, mezzanine and structured debt as well as special situations, restructurings and turnarounds. His in-country experience covers Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Angola, the DRC, Mauritius, Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda, with sector exposure to agriculture, manufacturing, forestry and financial institutions.

Kweku Koranteng is Managing Director and Head of the West Africa region at AgDevCo. He has 13 years of experience spanning auditing, corporate finance, project finance, advisory, equity valuation and due diligence, across sectors including power and transport infrastructure, agriculture, manufacturing, banking and public-private partnerships, with transactions in South Africa, Ghana, Zambia, Kenya, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal. He is a registered Chartered Accountant and holds a Master's in Development Finance.

Robert Jenkins is a Senior Adviser at AgDevCo with approximately 30 years of experience in private equity. He founded Phildrew Ventures, closing five funds prior to its sale to UBS, and served as a Director at Bridgepoint Capital, where he held chair and non-executive director positions across 10 portfolio companies. His work is now focused on private equity in Africa, including advisory, board, and investment committee roles.

Tshegofatso Sekgwele is an Investment Manager at AgDevCo, with over five years of experience in investment management focused on financial modeling, deal sourcing, and project finance across Africa. Sekgwele previously worked as an Investment Associate at AIIM.

Dan Galley is a Portfolio Business Partner at NorthEdge Capital LLP and serves as a Board Observer at Lights4fun. He trained with KPMG through its school leaver programme, working in financial services audit in Edinburgh for six years before relocating to Australia to work in CFO Advisory, where his projects covered process transformation, remediation of audit findings, and regulatory reporting. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2017 and graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Accounting in 2016.
