- The two founders met as friends at a middle school for gifted children in the Bay Area. One founder spent four years in Goldman's FX trading group covering hedge funds, then two years as the fourth employee at a company selling software to property managers, where he found that leasing was their largest unsolved problem. He reached out to the other founder, who had worked on income verification for mortgages at Blend and was at Google's search team; the second founder left Google a few months later to start Two Dots, using transformer-based AI to build an end-to-end solution.
