The company's technology portfolio is organized around three areas: plasma heating systems, which deliver the high energy and precise control needed to ignite and sustain fusion plasma; fusion fuel cycle systems, which exhaust, purify and recirculate hydrogen isotope gases such as tritium from the reactor core, building on long-running research at Kyoto University and other institutions; and fusion blanket and thermal cycle systems, which recover heat produced by the fusion reaction for power generation or heat use, and which require materials able to withstand high-energy neutrons, strong magnetic fields and high temperatures alongside plant designs for efficient heat utilization.
