How did you decide to be a founder?): Ty worked as financial controller for a large general contractor in Aspen and found existing construction finance software outdated and fragmented after trying available options. He approached his brother Ian, who was helping acquire the San Francisco startup Finvera, and the two decided to build a platform to address the problems Ty had encountered.
