Vijay Lathi is a Managing Director at New Leaf Venture Partners who focuses on information convergence and diagnostics investments. He joined Sprout in 1998, became a Partner in 2003, and was one of the founders of New Leaf in 2005; his earlier work spanned healthcare technologies including HCIT, diagnostics, and therapeutic platforms. Before Sprout, he was an analyst in the Healthcare Venture Capital Group at Robertson Stephens & Co. and at Cornerstone Research, and he holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from MIT and Stanford.
