Ron Gonen is the Founder and CEO of Closed Loop Partners, a firm focused on building the circular economy through asset management, an innovation center, and an operating group that includes Circular Services, a U.S. recycling and composting company. Before founding the firm, he served as Deputy Commissioner of Sanitation, Recycling and Sustainability for New York City under the Bloomberg Administration, overseeing waste collection, processing, and related public policy. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, later returned there as an adjunct professor, and authored The Waste-Free World, published in 2022.
