Before Meritech, he was a Managing Director and Head of the Private Equity Group at Montgomery Securities and earlier worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley; he previously served as a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot. He holds a B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
